The TDA 1.1-100-3-D0S by Bosch Rexroth Indramat is a 10.5 kg TDA 1 spindle drive controller. It is intended for the digital control of Rexroth spindle motors. When linked with a drive, it offers high stiffness and a wide range of speed at constant power. Generally, TDA 1 drive controllers are well-suited for use with Numerically Controlled (NC) machines. Apart from the wide speed range it confers on corresponding AC spindle drives, it always offers automatic spindle positioning with the aid of its integral position control circuit.
The TDA 1.1-100-3-D0S is characterized by a digital 16-bit parallel speed command value input and a RS 232C serial interface. The serial interface on this unit ensures that parameter values are loaded and saved using a PC. In general, TDA 1 units are designed for control cabinet mounting or in a well-sealed housing, and the same applies to the TDA 1.1-100-3-D0S. This controller has a continuous current rating of 70 Amperes. Also, its nominal current rating is 100 Amperes.
For optimum torque and power performance during operation, the acceptable ambient temperature must be maintained within the range of 5 to 45 degrees C. Also, its maximum permissible environmental temperature rating is 55 degrees C, and above this value, both performance ratings will drop. As per its conformity to the Ingress Protection rating IP 10, the TDA 1.1-100-3-D0S is protected against damage caused by solid foreign particles with D > 50 mm. Also, this controller does not have any form of protection whatsoever against the ingress of water and intentional contact. Its humidity category is F and relative humidity may not be greater than 70 %.This product can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
