The TDA 1.1-050-3-A0S model comes in a modular design having a total weight of approximately 10.5 kg. The AC main spindle drive with TDA 1 main spindle controller is capable of operating the spindle as a servo axis (C-axis) with a high-accuracy position control loop. The power supply module provides a dc-link voltage of 300 VDC to the controller. Drives equipped with the TDA 1 controller are distinguished by their high stiffness and a wide speed range at constant power delivery. The TDA 1 main spindle controller is dedicated to the intelligent digital control of frameless spindle motors 1MB and 2AD asynchronous main spindle motors. The typical applications of the controller are NC machine tools, printing machines, and robots. The controller circuit operates at the rated current of 50 A, and the continuous current of 35 A is supplied to the unit. The ambient air is used in this model for cooling purposes.
The model TDA 1.1-050-3-A0S can be installed at the maximum altitude of 1000 meters above sea level and it operates perfectly between the temperature ranges of +5 to +45 degree Celsius. The maximum permissible temperature for the controller is +55 degree Celsius and it can operate under humid conditions (without condensation).
