The TBM 1.1-20-W1/220 is a bleeder module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the TBM Bleeder Modules series. It is installed on the DC bus of multi-axis drive systems to dissipate regenerative energy and keep the intermediate circuit voltage within allowable limits during rapid motor deceleration. A dedicated blower mounted on the housing moves cooling air across the resistive elements, allowing the module to handle frequent braking cycles without overheating and supporting continuous operation on factory floors where thermal stability is critical.

The blower is energized by a control supply of 220 VAC and consumes only 15 VA, so it can be powered from standard auxiliary circuits. This low fan demand reduces the load on cabinet control power. Heat is removed by a blower-cooled design, and the bleeder stage is rated for 20 kW of peak energy absorption.
