The SOT02-E1R-CR is a station operator terminal (SOT) that is used with the DLC single axis positioning card and the CLM control module produced by Rexroth. The SOT02-E1R-CR is a remote mounted device and has a display area of 4-7/8" by 2-3/4". The device has been programmed for the DLC-R type applications. The device supports various additional screens that can be enabled by programming the device with Inframat’s Screen ManagerTM. The screen manager is a command line editor and is used on a DOS based computer. With this software, users can customize and write information that appears on the SOT display. The software also allows the additional prompt lines for the operator. The device has a crystal clear display and can display much more information than the other display panels because of a 16 line display in which 40 characters are supported for each line.
The SOT02-E1R-CR has a user-friendly keypad that is used to enter, remove, and add information through ‘click contact’ keys. Using the keypad, operators can select mode, select forward/reverse axis jog, and start/stop/resume a cycle. An RS-485 cable can be used with the SOT to connect with a DLC device as far as 1000 meters away. The device can be connected to the serial communications interface of the DLC. This model features a non-glare screen that is backlit with a cold cathode fluorescent lamp. The backlighting enables black and white contrast and the contrast level can be adjusted to view the screen as desired. The operator panel also has its own inbuilt software that guides the operators with assistance screens. This product can be purchased from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
