The SG-B3.150.024-13.010 is a brushless servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the SG Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed for closed-loop motion axes in industrial automation, the unit uses a resolver to report rotor position to a connected drive or CNC controller. Its rigid metal housing supports secure coupling to gearboxes, ball screws, and other driven components. A small integrated holding brake maintains the shaft position when power is removed, which is useful for vertical axes and applications that require stationary load retention.

The motor develops a static torque of 16.6 Nm, allowing it to maintain substantial torque at zero speed. Producing this torque at standstill requires a current of 18.2 A, so the connected drive must provide suitable current regulation. The rotor reaches a rated speed of 2700 rpm, making the motor suitable for responsive axes operating at moderate speeds. A square flange measuring 140 mm and manufactured to accuracy class R provides precise mounting and alignment. Power is transmitted through a 24 mm × 50 mm smooth shaft, which accommodates a clamping coupling. The IM B5 mounting arrangement also supports the vertical IM V1 and IM V3 positions. The IP65 enclosure protects the stator and connectors against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, allowing installation outside a sealed protective cabinet. The windings use a Class F insulation system in accordance with VDE 0530, providing thermal protection for the internal conductors. Permanent-magnet excitation is supplied by SmCo magnets, which offer high coercivity and stable magnetic performance across repeated thermal cycles. The sealed housing also helps prevent contaminants from reaching the resolver and other internal motor components, while the brake holds the shaft when electrical power is unavailable.
