The SG-B3.150.024-04.000 is a brushless servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the SG Synchronous Servo Motors series. It converts command currents from a servo amplifier into controlled rotary motion for positioning and feed axes in automated machinery. A resolver encoder on the rotor supplies continuous speed and position data so the drive controller can regulate torque and synchronize multiple axes in assembly, packaging, or machining cells.

The motor provides a standstill torque of 16.6 Nm when rated current flows. The windings draw 18.2 A at standstill, establishing the magnetic field that produces this holding capability and sets the current requirement for the drive amplifier. During motion, the rotor can reach a nominal speed of 2700 rpm while maintaining thermal equilibrium through natural convection cooling. A large integrated brake supplies 25.0 Nm of holding torque, so vertical loads remain fixed after power is removed. The brake coil receives 24 V DC ±10% from the machine’s control supply. Samarium-cobalt magnets provide high energy density, while Class F insulation allows the windings to withstand elevated operating temperatures without premature aging.

The motor uses an IM B5 housing with a 140 mm centering flange machined to accuracy grade N, providing consistent alignment with gearboxes or machine frames. Output torque is transmitted through a keyed steel shaft measuring 24 mm × 50 mm, which simplifies connection to DIN 6885-compliant hubs. The IP65 enclosure prevents dust ingress and resists low-pressure water jets, allowing the unit to operate close to process equipment. Reliable operation is supported at ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C.
