The SG-B2.014.065-13.010 is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the SG Synchronous Servo Motors series. It converts regulated drive current into precise rotary motion for positioning, indexing, and speed-controlled applications in automated machinery. The permanent-magnet design uses samarium-cobalt magnets, while a resolver supplies rotor position and speed feedback to the connected drive for closed-loop control.

The motor operates at a nominal speed of 5800 rpm and produces a standstill torque of 1.3 Nm. At standstill, the windings draw 4.4 A, and the motor has a torque constant of 0.32 Nm/A. A rotor inertia of 0.105 × 10⁻³ kg·m² supports responsive acceleration and straightforward load matching on light pick-and-place axes. The holding brake consumes 13 W while energized, and the complete motor has an overall length of 155 mm. Its smooth shaft has a diameter of 19 mm and projects 40 mm beyond the flange, providing a compact interface for clamping couplings. Power is supplied through a mating connector that accommodates 1.5 mm² conductors. The metallic housing dissipates heat through thermal radiation and natural convection, eliminating the need for an active fan. Class F insulation helps protect the windings from excessive temperature rise during continuous operation.

The motor supports IM B5 flange mounting as well as vertical V1 or V3 orientations. Its flange has a width of 100 mm and an accuracy grade of R, helping center the motor against gearboxes or bearing blocks. The housing has an ingress protection rating of IP65, which protects internal components against dust and water jets. Washdown operation is permitted when the ambient temperature remains within 0 to 40 °C. The brake coil operates at 24 V ±10%, and the brake clamps the shaft when electrical power is removed.
