The SG-B1.023.042-13.010 is a brushless servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SG Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed for closed-loop motion axes, the unit converts electrical drive current into controlled rotary torque for positioning and feed duties on automated machinery. Its metallic construction and smooth shaft allow direct coupling to precision gear stages or ball screws, while an internal resolver supplies rotor position and speed feedback to the drive controller.

This motor delivers a nominal speed of 4800 rpm, enabling fast cycle times in pick-and-place and spindle applications. At standstill, it can hold workloads with 2.55 Nm of static torque, and the continuous current required to maintain this torque is 4.8 A. Torque density is increased by permanent magnets made of SmCo, a material that resists demagnetization at elevated temperatures. Thermal radiation and natural convection provide cooling, so no external blower is required. A small integrated holding brake secures the shaft during power loss, and the resolver keeps commutation synchronized throughout the full speed range.
