It combines a resolver for rotor orientation with a samarium-cobalt magnet rotor to deliver repeatable positioning in closed-loop systems. A small integrated holding brake locks the shaft whenever power is removed, supporting vertical axes. By converting electrical commands from a drive controller into proportional torque and speed, the motor serves as a compact actuator for conveyor stations, pick-and-place gantries, and other motion tasks in industrial automation.
