The SG-A2.027.049-13.010 is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the SG Synchronous Servo Motors series. Intended for closed-loop positioning duties, it pairs permanent-magnet torque production with resolver feedback so controllers can synchronize motion with high repeatability. A compact integrated holding brake secures the shaft when power is off, allowing vertical or indexing loads to stay fixed without separate mechanical locks.

It delivers a static torque of 2.6 Nm, which is the maximum stall torque at the rated temperature. To achieve this output, the drive must provide a standstill current of 6.8 A, so cables and amplifier stages need matching thermal capacity. Continuous operation reaches 4800 rpm, providing ample speed for pick-and-place, feeder, or spindle axes. Torque is transmitted by a smooth shaft measuring 19 mm × 40 mm, while the IEC-compatible B5 mounting flange spans 100 mm for direct attachment to gearboxes or couplings. Accuracy grade R keeps runout low, and the circular power connector accepts 1.5 mm² conductors for the required connections.

The housing carries an IP65 rating that protects the motor from dust and water jets. The permissible ambient operating range is 0 to 40 °C, and waste heat leaves the frame through thermal radiation and natural convection, eliminating the need for external fans. The windings use Class F insulation, which allows winding temperatures up to 155 °C. High-energy SmCo magnets maintain their flux density at elevated temperatures and resist demagnetization during peak currents.
