The SG-A2.027.049-10.010 is a brushless servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the SG Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed as a compact rotary actuator, it works with compatible digital drives to position tooling, feed spindles, and conveyor sections with closed-loop accuracy. Electronic commutation provides controlled torque and speed without the brush wear associated with conventional DC motors. The compact housing also supports installation in automated machinery where available space is limited.

The motor delivers a static torque of 2.6 Nm, allowing it to keep a load stationary at zero speed while the drive remains energized. Under rated operating conditions, it reaches 4800 rpm, making it suitable for high-cycle pick-and-place systems and light spindle applications. Its standstill current is 6.8 A, indicating the current required from the drive when the motor produces maximum torque at rest. The enclosure has an IP65 protection rating, which prevents dust from entering and protects internal components against low-pressure water jets. A 100 mm mounting flange with Accuracy R supports precise alignment on the machine. The flange uses the IM B5 mounting pattern, and the motor may also be installed vertically in the IM V1 or IM V3 orientation. The rotor contains SmCo samarium-cobalt magnets, which retain magnetic strength at elevated temperatures and resist demagnetization during rapid acceleration. The permitted operating temperature is 0 to 40 °C, making the motor suitable for typical indoor industrial environments. Its smooth shaft measures 19 mm in diameter and 40 mm in length, allowing attachment through a clamp coupling without a keyway. The integrated resolver supplies the electrical rotor angle required for commutation and closed-loop motion control. A mating connector sized for 1.5 mm² phase conductors provides the electrical connection. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so an external clamp or energized drive torque must secure the load when stationary.
