Product Description:
The SG-A1.016.060-00.000 is a brushless servo motor engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the SG Synchronous Servo Motors series. Designed as a compact drive element, it converts electrical energy into accurately controlled rotary motion for indexing tables, small gantries, and spindle drives in automated machinery. A circular mounting interface of 70 mm matches the IM B5 face-mount pattern, while the housing can also be installed in IM V1 or IM V3 orientations without mechanical changes.
The rated output speed reaches 6300 rpm, allowing tight cycle times when paired with resolver feedback that reports rotor position and spindle speed to the drive. The motor develops 1.65 Nm of static torque at standstill and draws 4.5 A of continuous current under this load. External seals give the enclosure an IP 65 rating, blocking dust and water jets so the unit can be mounted outside a cabinet. Heat generated by the rotor and stator windings dissipates through thermal radiation and natural convection, eliminating the need for fans or liquid cooling circuits. Flange accuracy is Grade N, and vibration severity is limited to Grade N to help protect connected bearings. Power and feedback conductors exit through a mating connector that accepts 1.5 mm² cable, simplifying wiring in confined spaces. A keyed shaft manufactured according to DIN 6885 measures 11 mm by 23 mm and transfers torque to couplings or pulleys.
Permanent magnets made from SmCo provide high flux density and stable resistance to demagnetization at elevated temperatures. The stator winding insulation conforms to class F according to VDE 0530, allowing hot-spot temperatures of 155 °C without loss of dielectric strength. The specified ambient operating range is 0 to 40 °C, and natural convection keeps surface temperatures within operating limits across this range. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so an external clamping mechanism must retain the load when power is removed.
