The RZW02.1-001-040 braking resistor is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as a member of the RZW Braking Resistors series. It is supplied in Design 1 on Line 2 and uses resistor type A2. Installed across the intermediate DC link of a drive controller, the device converts surplus electrical energy into heat during rapid stopping or load reversals.
