The RZW Braking Resistors are available for converters of the RD 500 device series. Monitored by the converter, the external braking resistor is protected when the limit values for the thermal portrayal is exceeded. These braking resistor units consist of heavy-duty metal alloy encased in an insulating ceramic material. The complete protection prevents any ambient effects from doing harm to the live parts.
