The RZS01.1-6-035 is a passive line component built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RZS Sinusoidal Filters series. Positioned between a drive converter and the motor, this filter reshapes high-frequency pulse-width-modulated voltage into a smoother sinusoidal waveform. That reduces dV/dt stress on motor insulation and limits electromagnetic interference inside automated machinery. By smoothing steep switching edges before they reach the motor, it can also reduce audible noise and voltage peaks on longer motor leads.

To match common three-phase supply systems, the filter accepts a connecting voltage of 3 × AC 380 … 400 V. It tolerates fluctuations of up to ±15 %, so performance remains stable even when the line supply drifts from nominal values. During operation, a nominal current of 35 A can flow continuously through the inductive network without saturation. The design tracks switching events up to a carrier, or pulse, frequency of 8 kHz, keeping residual ripple low at the motor terminals. Its core inductance maintains uniform attenuation across a fundamental frequency span of 0 … 200 Hz, which covers the full speed range used by many variable-frequency drives.

Additional parameters describe how the filter fits with Indramat converters. It is aligned with power class codes 015 / 018 / 022, so it can be matched to listed converter sizes without extra impedance calculations. Thermal design losses are limited to 150 W, which helps with enclosure ventilation and limits heat buildup near adjacent electronics. The unit is design version 1 in product line 01, matching the mechanical dimensions used on current RZD and RZR mounting rails. The network allows a maximum output frequency of 200 Hz, letting servo axes run at high speeds while the filter continues to shape each phase into a near-sinusoidal waveform.
