The RZM01.1-5-108 model represents the modern development of Rexroth Indramat in the field of advanced motion control technology. The unit is a motor filter and is specially designed to decrease the leakage current of the motor line. The RZM01.1 motor filter should be installed at the converter output and it also helps in reducing the effect of the overvoltage. The unit provides limitation of power surges and it also assists the operation of motors using long supply lines. The RZM01.1 motor filter is designed to operate at the input voltage of 3 × AC 500 V with ±10% augmentation. The filter requires a continuous current of 108 A, and it can operate at the switching frequency of 4 kHz and 8 kHz. The unit operating at the PWM frequency of 4 kHz delivers the maximum output frequency of 100 Hz and the output frequency of 200 Hz is delivered by the unit with 8 kHz pulse frequency. During continuous operation, the motor filter undergoes the maximum power loss of 440 W.
The model RZM01.1-5-108 must be installed inconjunction with the drive controller having an L1 auxiliary function. The U1, V1, and W1 terminals are used as the input of the motor filter and the U2, V2, and W2 terminals are used as a power output of the filter.
