Product Description:
The RZK02.1-315-NN is an air-to-air heat exchanger produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RZK Heat Exchangers series. When mounted on the wall of an electrical enclosure, it channels cabinet heat to the ambient side. This helps drives and controls remain within their rated temperature window during continuous industrial operation. The separated air paths also keep the cabinet air stream apart from the outside air stream during cooling, which suits enclosures that need heat removal without opening the cabinet to room air.
The exchanger’s body depth is 360 mm, giving adequate space between the two air circuits while still fitting on crowded panels. Inside the housing, two blower stages deliver a combined cooling output of 2 × 4 kW, and both stages are powered from a single 1 AC 230 V fan supply, which simplifies connection to the cabinet mains. The unit can support drive systems with thermal losses that sum to 315 kW, matching the power level for which the heat exchanger is sized. Its enclosure carries an IP20 protection class, so it is intended for installation inside a closed machine room rather than on an exposed exterior wall. A hole pattern of 340 mm high by 200 mm wide, using four M8 inserts, aligns with the mounting frame and keeps the airflow path centered on the cabinet cutout.
For unobstructed circulation, the design requires at least 100 mm of bottom clearance and 200 mm at the top, and lateral ducting may extend up to 5 m between the exchanger and the cabinet wall. These clearances help maintain free intake and discharge airflow during operation. Overall dimensions are limited to 365 mm in height and 480 mm in width, allowing placement above or beside frequency converters without interfering with service doors. The assembly weight is 2 × 16 kg, so the sections can be moved into position without hoisting equipment. The wall-mounted layout keeps the unit stable during repeated fan cycling.
