Product Description:
The RZK02.1-132-NN heat exchanger is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RZK Heat Exchangers series. It removes thermal energy from control cabinets and drive assemblies so electronic components stay within their allowable operating temperature range during industrial automation duty. By circulating ambient air through a finned core, the unit transfers heat away from high-power equipment and helps keep cabinet temperatures more stable during continuous operation. Because the exchanger mounts outside the enclosure, it also preserves internal cabinet space for drives, contactors, and other control hardware.
The exchanger’s cooling circuit is rated at 4 kW, so it can dissipate that amount of thermal load when the required airflow is maintained. To link several exchangers on a single installation line, the maximum permitted assembly spacing is 5 m. Proper airflow beneath the cabinet is protected by a minimum bottom clearance of 100 mm, while a free space of 200 mm above the housing keeps the discharge side unobstructed. Mechanical attachment uses 4 × M8 threaded holes on a 200 × 340 mm mounting pattern, allowing direct alignment on machine frames and panel walls.
The wall-mounted enclosure is intended for heat removal and does not contain drive power components. With a vertical size of 365 mm and a horizontal span of 480 mm, the housing fits narrow service corridors while still providing enough surface area for airflow around the unit. The exchanger belongs to the 132 kW power class, which suits high-capacity drive packages with similar heat output. Its housing has an IP20 protection class for use in clean indoor areas, and the steel enclosure weighs 16 kg, which supports single-person handling during installation.
