The RZK01.1-315-BW is a heat exchanger designed by highly trained engineers to carry out temperature regulatory functions for frequency converters used in industrial production systems. This device is designed by the reputable Rexroth Indramat under ideal production environments, it features durable components that allow it to meet the operation requirements of different frequency converter series. Under normal operating conditions, the RZK01.1-315-BW heat exchanger operates without the emission of a large amount of noise thus it is can be operated in any area and at any time of the day. The enclosure of this heat exchanger is designed specifically for outside cabinet mounting, it is about 276 millimeters long and 542 millimeters wide, it also has a thickness of approximately 230 millimeters.
The RZK01.1-315-BW heat exchanger is designed with an internal braking resistor that functions to protect the power circuit of the exchanger from the excess current usually generated in the servo system during operation. This brake resistor has a resistance of 2×2.2 ohms and a nominal power of about 2×2 kilowatts. The resistor also has a terminal time constant of about 13.6 seconds. Before the braking resistor is commissioned with the heat exchanger, it must be checked if the parameter P0036 parameter is set to standard values as this allows to frequency converter to have perfect control over the operation of the resistor.
The RZK01.1-315-BW heat exchanger features unique electrical components that generate electromagnetic field during the operation of the device, this field can affect the operation of some important medical devices such as cardiac pacemakers, hearing aids, and metal implants, thus persons waring any sensitive device should not be allowed to move near the heat exchanger.
