The RZK01.1-200-BW is a compact heat-exchange assembly produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RZK Heat Exchangers series. Installed as an auxiliary module alongside drive controllers, it combines a forced-air cooler with an integrated brake resistor so that excess electrical and thermal energy generated during rapid motor deceleration is removed from the control cabinet. By routing warm airflow outside the enclosure, the unit helps automation lines maintain stable component temperatures, protect electronic service life, and meet enclosure derating limits used with high-power motion systems.

The resistor portion can absorb a continuous dissipation of 2.5 kW, while short transients are handled at up to 370 kW for 0.1 s. That overload capability is possible because the resistor value is set at 1.6 Ω, creating a current path that clamps DC-bus voltage without overloading the drive IGBTs.
