The Bosch RZC01.1-6N-018-N-23 is a RD 500 drive accessory. It is a chemistry module that supplements the drives for process and chemical industries. The module is designed for vertical mounting inside a IP23 rated cabinet. The height and width of the module are the same as the AC drive. When using mounting rails with threaded holes in this grid pattern, several units can be mounted adjacent to each other without an intermedia horizontal spacing. When mounted inside a cabinet, the cooling requirement of all installed devices should be calculated so that the cooling can be properly dimensioned. Dimensions of the RZC01.1-6N-018-N-23 are 560 x 135 x 315 millimeters. The drilling template for the module shows that two M6 screws are needed for its mounting. When mounted above or below a drive, a clearance of 125 millimeters should be maintained.

Connecting voltage for the RZC01.1-6N-018-N-23 is 400 Volts AC (3-phase). A maximum voltage variation of ±15% is permitted. A NAMUR terminal strip is not available on the chemistry module. Rated power and current for the RZC01.1-6N-018-N-23 are 15 kilowatts and 30 Amps. The maximum output frequency is 200 Hertz. The terminals for connection to the drive converter are located on the top side of the RZC01.1-6N-018-N-23 module. The power terminals for the line and for the motor are located on the bottom of the module. The terminals for 24 Volts DC supply are located on the front panel of the module. Terminals for the PTC thermistor control unit are also located on the front panel of the RZC01.1-6N-018-N-23. Only approved spare parts should be used for module maintenance.
