Product Description:
The RZC01.1-6N-018-N-23 chemistry module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RZC Chemistry Modules series. It serves as an auxiliary drive section that supplies coordinated power and signal handling to pumps, valves, or heating elements used in industrial chemical automation. By combining power conversion with process-specific interfaces, the unit allows a plant controller to insert a self-contained chemical stage into a cabinet-based production line without additional field wiring. This arrangement helps keep related process connections concentrated in one section of the cabinet instead of distributing separate interface hardware across multiple panels.
The module accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 400 V ±15% and converts it to controllable output with a continuous current capability of 30 A. This current reserve supports loads up to 15 kW while maintaining a maximum output frequency of 200 Hz, allowing high-speed motor or agitator operation when required by the process. An enclosure rating of IP23 protects internal electronics against falling water and coarse particles during cabinet installation, and the internal circuitry is sized to dissipate heat generated at the stated power level without derating. The unit’s line designation is 1, and its protection elements coordinate with upstream disconnects so that overcurrent trips occur before external wiring is stressed.
The housing belongs to Size class B, and the factory configuration is tagged as Design 1 to match other first-design RZC devices. The frame is supplied without a NAMUR-terminal strip, which leaves space for user-selected sensor blocks when NAMUR isolation is unnecessary. The heat sink and terminals are arranged for cabinet mounting, so no external brackets are needed and airflow inside the enclosure remains unobstructed. This layout also keeps the connection area accessible for routine wiring changes and supports compact placement beside other cabinet-mounted drive modules.
