Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the RZC01.1-5N-005-F-23 for the RZC Chemistry Modules series. The module is intended for mounting inside industrial control cabinets, where it acts as an electrical interface between the cabinet power bus and field devices while carrying out tasks assigned by the higher-level controller. It works alongside peer units from the same series to create a coordinated subsystem. Within that arrangement, the module helps organize power and control connections so adjacent units can operate together without requiring separate standalone hardware for each cabinet function.
The unit accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 500 V ±10 % and provides a continuous line current of 8.0 A. This operating range supports loads up to 4.0 kW before derating is required. The internal inverter section can generate output frequencies as high as 100 Hz, enabling motor operation above standard mains frequency and allowing finer speed adjustment in process control. An enclosure rating of IP23 allows installation in protected indoor areas where the housing is shielded from direct water exposure. The module is also identified as design 1 and line 1, which distinguishes this revision within the series and helps keep the correct configuration aligned with the installed equipment.
The housing arrives prepared for cabinet mounting, so additional adapter brackets are not required for normal installation. Control electronics can remain active through external 24 V standby power, which keeps low-voltage functions available when the main circuit is switched off. Measurement stability is improved by an integrated filtered current feedback path that conditions return signals before they reach the controller. The module does not include a NAMUR terminal strip, so intrinsically safe sensor loops must be routed to external terminals. With its size class A outline, the unit occupies a defined footprint that supports orderly cabinet layout and preserves cooling air gaps when several RZC Chemistry Modules share a backplane.
