The RD52.1-4B-075-D-NN-FW is a modular drive controller. It is part of the RD52 series from Bosch Rexroth. A wide range of additional functions are available for RD52 controllers. The RD52.1-4B-075-D-NN-FW does not support additional functions. Firmware for the controller is ordered as a separate subposition. The controller includes a plug through cooler. The specified ambient temperature for operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius the controller operated with derated output. During operation the relative humidity should not exceed 90% and condensation is not allowed. The controller is IP20 rated and therefore the air in the controller vicinity should dust free. Furthermore, the air should not contain aggressive or electrically conducting gases. The controller dissipates heat during normal operation and should be appropriately separate from other devices.

Rated motor output of the RD52.1-4B-075-D-NN-FW is 75 kilowatts at 4 kilohertz pulse frequency. The converter includes a brake chopper. Input of the drive converter is designed for 3-phase AC input. The range of supported input voltages is 380 to 480 Volts AC. An operator panel or PC based software can be used for controller configuration. User panel on the RD52.1-4B-075-D-NN-FW is removable and supports parameter copy function. An additional 32-bit signal processor on the RD52.1-4B-075-D-NN-FW allows controller use for high-dynamic and servo applications with torque rise times of 0.3 milliseconds and current cycle times of 0.1 millisecond. Overload capability of the RD52.1-4B-075-D-NN-FW is 200% for 0.5 seconds and 170% for 1 second.
