The RMB02.2-04 is a station carrier produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RECO Drive Modules series. Within an automation rack, it provides the mechanical frame and shared backplane needed for drive-related interface cards, letting machine builders group power, motion, and feedback functions in one orderly assembly. By providing a fixed slot count and clear physical boundaries, the carrier helps keep the rack layout organized inside multiaxis systems. It also keeps the installed electronics accessible within the protective enclosure of the control system.
This carrier accepts RME02, RMA02, MTS-R, MTC-R plug-in modules and arranges them in up to four unshared bays that are keyed to prevent mixing. Installation is constrained to a control cabinet, where the unit’s convection path remains unobstructed and its bus connectors align to the main RECO rail. The housing meets the IP20 rating, so fingers and tools are blocked from live parts while forced ventilation remains possible.
