The RMA02.2-32-DC024 output module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RECO Drive Modules series. It occupies one slot in a RECO rack and provides transistorized field-power switching for distributed manufacturing lines, packaging cells, and material-handling stations. By translating logic-level commands into device power, the unit expands the digital control capacity of Rexroth motion or PLC systems while keeping cabinet wiring compact. This arrangement supports applications that need many switched loads in a small amount of rack space without adding separate relay assemblies for every field device.

Each of the module’s 32 outputs is driven by a dedicated channel that can supply 0.5 A per output, which is suitable for many pneumatic valves, indicator lamps, and similar control loads. The outputs source the load at 24 V DC, so the module matches the standard control voltage commonly used in automation cabinets. A solid-state design based on FET transistor switching eliminates mechanical contact wear and supports fast, repeatable switching behavior during continuous machine cycles. To protect both the module and connected devices, an internal current limit responds to abnormal demand and allows the affected channel to recover automatically after the fault condition is removed.

The outputs are organized into 4 isolated blocks, each arranged in a 4 × 8 grouping that shares a common supply and reference. This layout helps contain faults within the affected section, and the built-in short-circuit protection allows the remaining groups to continue operating when one block experiences a wiring problem. The housing has a 192 mm height, with an 81 mm depth and a 41.3 mm width, so it fits the standard RECO profile without obstructing adjacent cards. The segmented structure also makes field wiring easier to organize, because related loads can be assigned to the same block and supplied from the same potential group.
