The RMA02.1-16-RE230-200 is an output relay module built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RECO Drive Modules series. It plugs into the series backplane to translate low-level control signals from a drive or PLC into field-rated contact closures. By adding isolated power switching directly inside the drive rack, the board lets automated lines energize solenoids, motor contactors, stack lights, and safety interlocks while keeping higher voltage away from logic circuitry. This arrangement also helps separate control-level electronics from the switched load circuits inside the cabinet.
Every channel uses a relay contact, so an electromechanical armature rather than a semiconductor carries the load current. The contacts are rated for up to 230 Veff, permitting direct connection to plant mains or control transformers. Steady conduction is limited to 2.0 A per channel, which helps protect the contact surfaces during continuous duty. Mixed circuit designs are possible because the relay can switch AC and DC supplies without regard to polarity.
