The RECO RMA02.2-32-DC024-050 is an output module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RECO Drive Modules series. Installed in a rack alongside servo drives and control processors, it converts logic-level commands into switched power for external devices. The module is intended for factory automation tasks where many low-voltage actuators must be energized in parallel from a single controller slot, allowing coordinated operation of valves, lamps, and contactors without mechanical relay boards. This makes it suitable for centralized I/O points that must switch multiple field devices in step with the controller.

The module offers 32 outputs arranged in four isolated blocks, and each block contains eight channels with internal current limiting. Every channel can deliver up to 500 mA per output at 24 VDC, and the load is switched through a FET transistor stage that supports high switching frequency with minimal wear. Output states follow the controller through the Active 1 switching mode, meaning a high logic level energizes the field device. Internal voltage monitoring supervises the supply rail, and the circuitry is short-circuit proof, so a fault on one line does not disable the remaining outputs.

The housing has a width of 41.3 mm, a depth of 81 mm, and a height of 192 mm, which helps the module fit dense control cabinets. Four front connectors, each carrying 10 pins, mate with prefabricated harnesses, and each connector serves one isolated output block with eight channels. Up to eight modules can operate simultaneously on a fully populated RECO rack, allowing 256 discrete outputs without additional backplane expansion. The internal layout keeps the transistor stages close to the terminals to keep signal rise times low and help limit electromagnetic interference.
