The R-IL S3 BK DIS DO4-PAC is an Inline control bus coupler. It uses a spring-cage connection method for making rapid wiring and satisfactory contact. It is easy to install but is electrically reliable. It has a nominal power dissipation of 1.7 W, which offers energy consumption with a minimum. It draws 0.98 A of the Ubk supply, delivering stable power during normal load. Input voltage range is 19.2 V DC to 30 V DC, including ripple, and can be used in power applications in industry. It possesses eight 24 V DC digital inputs with a typical input current of 3 mA.
It possesses four digital outputs of 24 V DC. The outputs can handle a maximum inductive load of 12 W and are best suited for switching external devices. Inbuilt overload and short circuit protection are controlled by the driver circuits for output to enhance system reliability and life. Data are transported on Inline local bus in 500 kBit/s and also in 2 MBit/s. Double rate feature ensures flexibility in the system as well as high capacity to process data. A maximum of 61 Inline units can be mounted within the coupler to enable installability for processing growing applications. It has an IP20 protection level in terms of EN 60 123, hence it is cabinet-enclosed system suitable. Its default response time for synchronized input/output signals is 4 milliseconds to provide quick response for the system.
