The PST6250.114-L is a 2-phase Thyristor power unit in the PST 6250 series from Bosch Rexroth. It weighs approximately 13 kg, and can be mounted vertically or with its back on a mounting plate. The PST 6250 series features air cooling and an in-built control function. This equipment finds application in welding transformers (up to a maximum of 250 kVA). In general, the rated voltage of the PST 6250 series is between 400 – 600 volts and operating clock frequency is 50 – 60 Hz. The continuous thermal rated current of this series is 200A. The PST6250.114-L feature an integrated weld timer, a serial, parallel or fieldbus interface and battery compartment. Also, it has a slot for retrofitting additional quality modules and an optional interface for programming.

The degree of protection of the PST6250.114-L when installed in modular enclosures or switchgear cabinets (with IP 54) is IP 20. This equipment utilizes a metal oxide varistor (MOV) for overvoltage protection. The maximum allowable ambient temperature of this thyristor power unit is 55 degrees C, and its maximum cooling air temperature 45 degrees C.

The PST6250.114-L features an integrated temperature monitoring system, and its allowable temperature range during storage is -25 degrees C to +70 degrees C. Also, during storage, transportation and operation of this model of the PST 6250 series, the surrounding air must not contain corrosive agents, metal vapours, caustic solutions and acids (in general). The allowable air pressure of the PST6250.114-L is at any range within 0 – 2000 meters above sea lvl. Its electrical connections, transformer and mains supply are linked via box terminals with a maximum wire range of 95 mm².
