The PSI62C0.201-W1 is a medium-frequency inverter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PSI Frequency Inverters series. Within an automation cell, the device converts fixed industrial mains power into a regulated medium-frequency output for induction heating systems, hardening stations, and other processes that require rapidly adjustable power in the kilohertz range. It fits inside enclosed control cabinets and interfaces with plant controllers to adjust output amplitude or shut down power on command, making it a central component in energy-intensive thermal processes. An internal low-voltage section supports gate drives and user electronics, reducing the number of external modules needed for operation.

At the input, the inverter accepts three-phase power from 400 to 480 VAC and operates on utility grids running at 50 or 60 Hz, so transformer adjustments are unnecessary when machinery is installed in regions with either frequency. The power stage is water-cooled, allowing the heat sink to transfer thermal energy into an external coolant circuit rather than the surrounding cabinet air.
