Product Description:

The Bosch Rexroth Indramat PSI64C0.760-W1 is part of the PSI Frequency Inverter Series. It is a medium-frequency inverter that has an inbuilt weld timer.  This model is specifically used for welding operations that require the right amount of power and voltage delivered at a precise time. The inverter is built to meet international quality standards and to provide an accurately controlled current supply that will guarantee good welding results in the industry. The rated leakage current of PSI64C0.760-W1 measures the maximum amount of current that flows through the inverter's protective insulation to the ground under normal operating conditions. Excessive leakage current can pose safety risks, potentially triggering protective devices such as residual current circuit breakers or ground fault interrupters. Hence,  the PSI64C0.760-W1, must maintain a rated leakage current of 35 milliamperes.

During operation, the cooling sink must contain water of about  10 l/minute with a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius.  This helps to prevent the destruction of the inverter by overheating. When the medium-frequency inverter is not in use or when it is being transported, it should be stored away from extreme vibrations and at an ambient temperature of between -25  to +70 degrees Celsius. Other parameters of the PSI64C0.760-W1 include its dimensions which have a length of 80 millimeters breadth of 398 millimeters and a depth of 200 millimeters. It also weighs 70 kilograms and has a cross-section of 25 millimeters square.

This inverter handles a current of 80 Amperes and has a frequency rating of 50/60 Hertz. According to the Electromagnetic Compatibility classification, the medium frequency inverter falls under Class A, indicating its use for industrial purposes only. Lastly, all operators must remember the medium frequency inverter has a power loss of 25 watts and it must be operated under a maximum temperature of 45-degree census.
