The inverter supports a mains voltage of 400 to 480 VAC and has a nominal system current of 110 Amps.
Internal Product Review
The PSI63C0.752-W1 is a medium frequency inverter designed for 400 to 480 VAC mains service. Water-cooled construction with 4 l/min cooling water flow supports stable thermal control in higher-duty installations. A 110 A nominal system current and 800 A max output current make the inverter a strong choice for demanding induction heating platforms.

Product Description:
The PSI63C0.752-W1 is a medium-frequency inverter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the PSI Frequency Inverters series. It sits between the mains supply and an induction load, shaping the waveform so heating cabinets, forging coils, or melting crucibles receive stable medium-frequency power. The device replaces motor-generator sets and responds faster because output timing is controlled electronically instead of mechanically. That arrangement supports consistent heating cycles in equipment that depends on tightly regulated power delivery.
The inverter accepts a three-phase supply of 400-480 VAC, while its logic and gate circuitry run from an isolated 24 V DC control rail. This separation allows the control section to remain active for checks and setup while the main power section stays de-energized. A switching frequency of 1 kHz governs the pulse-width-modulated output sent to the connected transformer. During normal operation, the power section can deliver up to 800 A and carries a nominal current of 110 A. The IP20 housing requires installation inside a closed cabinet, and communication and sequencing are handled through an EtherNet timer interface. Line and load conductors connect through 50 mm² inverter terminals and accept outgoing wires up to 35 mm².
Heat management relies on a water-cooled heat exchanger that removes 69 W of basic cabinet loss during standby and up to 110 W when the inverter runs at full modulation depth. The cooler can dissipate as much as 420 W from the switching devices, provided the cooling circuit maintains a flow of 4 l/min and an inlet temperature of no more than 30 °C through the M16×1.5 connection. On the secondary side, the unit is rated for fault currents up to 36 kA, matching PSG 3100 furnace requirements. Continuous service is permissible up to an ambient temperature of 55 °C, after which derating applies. The 25 kg assembly is mounted inside the cabinet alongside the water loop and power connections.
