PSI63C0.739-W2 is a Bosch Rexroth PSI 6000 series MF inverter. It is designed specifically for metal welding in industrial applications. The welding system consists of an inverter and a compatible welding transformer. Bosch does not permit use of the inverter for any other application. PSI63C0.739-W2 belongs to the PSI 6300 series which includes inverters rated for 6 to 36 kA. It is a water-cooled device with integrated control function. The rated voltage is from 480 to 690 Volts AC at 50/60 Hertz. Bosch recommends using the PSG 3100.00 A welding transformer with the inverter. The rated current of the inverter is 110 Amps. The inverter supplies an MF output voltage and DC current to the transformer. This allows for fast and thorough control of the welding process.
The inverter clocks the welding current at 1 kilohertz which enables more precise and fast current regulation compared to welding done at 50 Hertz.
