Product Description:
The PSI63C0.739-L1 is a medium-frequency inverter from Bosch Rexroth Indramat that belongs to the PSI Frequency Inverters series. Designed for industrial automation, it converts three-phase mains power into a controlled medium-frequency output so connected equipment can operate at predetermined electrical parameters within a production line. The logic section can be sequenced through an Ethernet-based timer channel, eliminating the need for dedicated hardware clocks in supported control arrangements.
This inverter accepts a three-phase supply of 400–480 VAC at either 50 or 60 Hz. Internal conversion losses are limited to a maximum of 360 W, and the resulting heat must be removed by the air-cooling system. Forced ventilation must remain unobstructed so air can pass across the heat sink surfaces effectively. An integrated auxiliary supply provides 24 VDC at up to 2 A, allowing the inverter to power compatible sensors or interface electronics without a separate source. This low-current supply can also support nearby contactors, relays, and small control I/O devices when their combined demand remains within the available output. The housing has an IP20 protection rating, which guards against accidental finger contact with internal components but does not protect the inverter from water. Installation inside a suitable control cabinet is therefore required to prevent exposure to moisture, excessive contamination, and accidental contact during normal plant operation.
The permissible ambient operating temperature ranges from +10 °C to +55 °C. During storage or transportation, the inverter can withstand temperatures from -25 °C to +70 °C without performance degradation when it is handled under the stated conditions. Climatic category 3K3 under EN 60721-3-3 indicates that the unit is suitable for sheltered production areas exposed to moderate humidity and dust. The inverter has a total mass of 20 kg, so the cabinet structure and mounting hardware must provide adequate support. Suitable clearance around the air passages is also necessary to maintain cooling performance after the unit is secured inside the enclosure.
