The PSI63C0.737-L2 frequency inverter is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the PSI Frequency Inverters series. In automated cells, it converts fixed three-phase mains power into a variable output so production motors can accelerate, decelerate, and hold speed according to the PLC profile. Designed for cabinet installation, the unit combines its power stage and control electronics in one housing and serves as the main drive interface between the plant supply and the motion axis.

Internally, the inverter switches at 1 kHz to generate smooth motor voltage while keeping conducted noise manageable. Protection is rated IP 20, and climate class 3K3 limits the unit to clean indoor cabinet environments. Forced-air cooling removes heat, and integrated sensors support temperature monitoring during operation.
