The PSI63C0.336-W2 is a medium-frequency inverter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the PSI Frequency Inverters series. It converts high-voltage three-phase mains power into controlled medium-frequency output for induction heaters, melting furnaces, and similar process loads. This type of converter is used where stable thermal energy delivery is required for automated heating applications rather than general motor-speed control. The integrated INTERBUS timer interface allows the unit to coordinate power delivery with surrounding machine functions while fitting into a compact cabinet space.
The inverter draws a nominal mains current of 110 A from supplies in the range of 480-690 VAC and can tolerate short-term surges up to 800 A during rapid process changes.
