Product Description:

The PSI6300.773-L2 is a medium-frequency inverter from Bosch Rexroth. Unlike most converters, this product provides industrial operators with maximum flexibility in terms of input/output operation interface and network compatibility; it also provides reliable total quality control and documentation of industrial spot-welding operations. The installation of this product provides a significant reduction in explosion risks due to its ability to adapt to operation status and carry out appropriate current control. This product is part of Bosch Rexroth's attempt to provide a long-lasting welding controller that saves cost and provides better output. The unit offers high process reliability with its many integrated features and modules. The PSI6300.773-L2 is designed to control the PSG 3000 welding transformers.

The monitoring functions of this product include an integrated current sensor, safety resistor, and temperature monitoring system. In the primary circuit of this product, a bridge-connected rectifier rectifies the 50 or 60 Hertz mains AC. This generates a direct current that connects with a transistorized H-bridge alternating to the welding transformer. The setup connects at a frequency of 1000Hz.

The PSI6300.773-L2 is rated IP20 in its protection quality for designs that involve modular enclosures. There are certain protective requirements to maintain its optimal functionality. It should also be protected from corrosion. It has an overvoltage protection using a metal oxide varistor. This product is one of the few control systems available to handle aluminum welding applications. The weld timer integrated with this product is able to manage multiple welding electrodes and even extend the operation time. Also, operators are allowed to program up to 10 different electrode forces during a programming schedule. There is a memory unit present in the weld timer to keep track of error events and provide operators with detailed information that aids diagnostic operations.
