The PSI6300.637-W1 medium-frequency inverter is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PSI Frequency Inverters series. It converts three-phase mains power into a regulated high-frequency output so induction heaters, weld power supplies, and similar loads can operate with tightly controlled energy. This controlled output helps the connected process maintain repeatable power delivery from cycle to cycle. Installed in a machine cabinet, the unit serves as the power stage of an automation cell, while separate logic power and water cooling support continuous operation when enclosure temperatures are high.

The inverter accepts input from 400 – 480 VAC and uses a control clock of 1 kHz to sequence its switching devices. The enclosure is rated IP20, so the assembly must be installed behind a cabinet door to prevent direct contact with energized parts.
