Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat PSI6300.630-L1 belongs to the PSI Frequency Inverters series. Designed for cabinet mounting, this inverter converts three-phase utility power into a regulated medium-frequency output that can drive induction heating coils, plating rectifiers, or other plant loads requiring adjustable high-frequency energy. Within an automation cell, it connects to motion or process controllers so the electrical output can be adjusted to real-time production demands while maintaining manageable thermal and space requirements.
Its input bridge accepts three-phase mains between 400–480 VAC, and the control electronics synchronize with line frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz. This input range allows installation in European or North American plants without tap changes. Heat produced by the switching elements is removed through air cooling, and maximum power dissipation is limited to 360 W, which helps with panel ventilation planning. The housing conforms to IP20, providing protection against accidental contact with internal electrical components and entry by solid objects larger than the applicable limit. The unit must be installed inside a suitable protective enclosure because the housing does not provide protection against water. DeviceNet timing functions support coordinated start, stop, and speed-ramp commands from a compatible control system.
Continuous operation is permitted at ambient temperatures from +10 to +55 °C. The assembly is rated for the EN 60721-3-3 climatic class of 3K3, supporting operation under controlled industrial temperature and humidity conditions. When powered down, the inverter can be stored at temperatures from −25 °C to +70 °C. The integrated supply rails provide 24 VDC control power at up to 2 A, allowing proximity switches, relays, and small contactors to receive power directly from the inverter. The unit has a total mass of approximately 20 kg, which should be considered when selecting cabinet supports, mounting hardware, and handling equipment. Adequate clearance around the housing allows cooling air to circulate and gives installers access to power, control, and communication connections.
