The PSI6300.204-L1 is a powerful and economical medium-frequency inverter with DC current supply to many applications in resistance welding of all kinds. The unit is a series from the PSI 6000 category produced by the Bosch Rexroth company. It uses an AC input technology to achieve better results with more versatile and applicable current control to offer higher weld quality. The unit also increases the range or quantity of materials that can be welded using resistance welding applications.
The PSI6300.204-L1 increases quality and range and it also protects the system by lengthening the electrode life through reduced thermal and mechanical load on the electrode tips. The unit features an integrated weld timer and an integrated temperature monitoring system. Some of its other features include a control functionality that is separate from the monitoring functionality. It also has a parallel and serial input and output interface. It has a green LED indicator that goes off when the system is operating in extreme conditions. In some situations, the weld timer blocks any other sequence especially when the temperature rises above 65 degrees Celsius.
The PSI6300.204-L1 medium-frequency inverter has a protection degree of IP54 rating when installed for switchgear cabinets. The protection degree when it is designed for modular exposure is IP20. The unit should be stored at a temperature above -25 degrees Celsius and below +70 degrees Celsius. The configuration of this product can be carried out on a local PC installed with BOS software, the configuration PC is required to have windows operating system which can host the configuration software.
