The PSI6300.175-L1 medium-frequency inverter is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PSI Frequency Inverters series. It converts three-phase factory mains into a regulated intermediate-frequency supply that drives induction heating generators, resonant power stages, or other equipment requiring variable medium-frequency power. Within automated lines, the unit provides energy conversion without mechanical transformers, simplifying cabinet layouts and allowing electronic speed or process control.

Its input section accepts a three-phase supply between 400–480 VAC, so it connects directly to common 400 V networks without autotransformers. Line frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz are tolerated, allowing the same model to be used in different regions. An integrated auxiliary supply delivers 24 VDC at up to 2 A; this rail powers contactors, sensors, or the unit's 24 V timer circuit. Protection against accidental finger contact is provided by the IP20 housing, which is suitable for installation inside a closed electrical cabinet. The inverter is classified in climate category 3K3 under EN 60721-3-3, indicating that it can operate in control rooms with moderate dust and controlled humidity. During nonoperating periods, it may be stored or transported at temperatures between -25 °C and +70 °C without damage.

Thermal management is handled by an air-cooled heat sink system that rejects up to 360 W of heat to the surrounding cabinet airflow. Continuous operation is permitted when the ambient air at the mounting location remains within +10 to +55 °C; outside this range, derating or additional ventilation is required. The chassis weighs 20 kg, so it can be fastened to standard panel backplates without special reinforcement. The 24 V timer interface supports connections to external timing and control components. Its medium-frequency architecture provides electronically regulated power for compatible industrial equipment while maintaining predictable cabinet heat loads.
