This operating method supports stable weld quality where current shape and timing must stay consistent from cycle to cycle. The unit also includes logic resources for current ramps, timing functions, and I/O exchange, so it can operate as a dedicated control node within a larger automation system rather than serving only as a power conversion stage. Because these control functions are built into the inverter, current delivery and sequence control remain closely linked during each welding cycle.
