Product Description:
The PSI6300.105-L1 is a medium-frequency inverter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the PSI Frequency Inverters series. In metal-processing and general automation cells, it supplies adjustable medium-frequency power to induction coils, transformers, or capacitive loads, linking the plant supply to resonant circuits without mechanical conversion. By converting standard three-phase mains power to a controlled high-frequency output, it provides precise energy delivery for heating, brazing, and similar processes in industrial production lines. This controlled conversion allows the connected process to receive power according to its operating requirements.
Input flexibility is provided through a three-phase line connection rated for 400–480 VAC, while selectable base frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz allow the drive to operate with different regional power grids. A built-in auxiliary supply provides 24 VDC control power at up to 2 A, so external power modules are unnecessary for contactors, sensors, or the internal timer circuit. The IP20 protection class limits access to live parts while permitting cabinet airflow, making the device suitable for installation in ventilated enclosures. An integral fan provides forced-air cooling, which simplifies installation compared with liquid-cooled units. Its climatic category 3K3 rating under EN 60721-3-3 supports operation in industrial buildings where temperature, dust, and condensation remain within the permitted limits.
During operation, the inverter releases up to 360 W of heat that must be removed through cabinet ventilation. This heat-loss value can be used when selecting suitable airflow, ducting, and filter media for the enclosure. Reliable operation is maintained across an ambient temperature range of +10 to +55 °C. The unit can be stored or transported at temperatures from -25 to +70 °C without damage to its electronics. With a mass of 20 kg, the chassis requires appropriate support during handling and secure mounting within the panel assembly. Its substantial mass also helps reduce the effects of vibration after the inverter has been fastened inside the enclosure.
