Product Description:
The PSI62C0.728-W1 is a flexible Programmable Weld timer equipped with a medium frequency inverter unit in the same housing. This product is designed under ideal industrial conditions by highly trained engineers from the internationally renowned Bosch Rexroth Indramat; it incorporates the latest control and configuration practices to provide an automation device that can guarantee a high welding quality in the industrial environment. Operators that purchase this device are also able to comfortably carry out the programming, operation, and diagnosis of the inverter through the use of a connected local personal computer installed with the BOS-5000 user interface software from the manufacturer. This configuration software provides an interactive graphic mode and requires an operating system of at least windows 95/98. There is also the option of using a BT terminal with PLC function or a BT 6 connection; however, these two options have limited functional capacity.
The software designed for the configuration of the PSI62C0.728-W1 programmable weld timer provides operators with the option of setting a password and a username to control the operators that have access to the configuration parameters. There are up to 256 programs that can be used with this inverter; operators have the opportunity to address each of the programs to a symbolic spot for the best welding results. The different types of welding modes supported by this product include spot welding, repeat mode welding, projection welding and roll seams. The inverter also supports half-cycle operation.
The PSI62C0.728-W1 frequency inverter carries out maintenance operations separate from its impressive control duties. One of the maintenance operations of this product is current monitoring, which involves the independent programming of reference currents from regulation command values.
