Intended for induction heating stations, hardening tools, and other machinery that needs controllable medium-frequency power, it converts plant mains power into a regulated medium-frequency output while providing galvanic isolation and drive monitoring. The device combines the power stage, an auxiliary supply, and fieldbus timing in one chassis to simplify cabinet wiring and connection to water-cooling circuits.
The mains terminals accept 400-480 VAC three-phase power at either 50 or 60 Hz, so the inverter can connect directly to common industrial power supplies without an external transformer. The internal IGBT modules are mounted on a water-cooled heat sink, which limits junction temperatures during operation. Overall thermal losses are 420 W, and the coolant circuit must remove this heat to maintain the required operating temperature.
