The PSI6100.630-L1 is an inverter system that operates on medium frequency and is operated in conjunction with the PSG 3000 transformers. The device is used for direct current welding and improves the welding process significantly. The inverter comes with an in-built welding control system. For communication, the system uses Fieldbus interfaces. The PSI6100.630-L1 provides easy programming and diagnostics and has s straightforward operating process because of its BOS-5000 operator interface. The system comes with multiple additional slots for retrofitting an optional quality module and installing the required I/O interface. The inverter has high operational reliability. It comes with a thermostatic switch that is used to detect overload on the connected PSG 3000 transformer. Fault signals can be processed with the BOS-5000 operator interface, a Bosch operator terminal, and other inputs.
The PSI6100.630-L1 supports serial, parallel, and Fieldbus interfaces. The device is protected in accordance with the IP 20 protection standard. The system can be installed in switchgear cabinets or modular enclosures. The PSI6100.630-L1 improves welding quality by reducing the load on the PSG-3000 transformer and by supplying a steady welding current. By using this inverter system, the electrode life is enhanced and welding aluminum and galvanized sheets becomes easy. Spot weld quality is also enhanced significantly because of medium frequency welding with controlled current. The device uses air cooling for removing excess heat and comes with fan cowl for this purpose. The inverter operates on a 400 V to 480 V line voltage and uses 110 A continuous thermal current.
