The PSI6100.280-L1 is a medium-frequency inverter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the PSI Frequency Inverters series. It conditions three-phase supply power so welding transformers receive precisely timed current profiles, while a PROFIBUS timer channel coordinates the pulse sequence with upstream controllers. By handling power conversion and discrete 24 V control lines, the unit serves as the interface between plant PLC logic and the secondary circuit that generates welding heat.

The inverter connects to a mains supply ranging from 400–480 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz.
