The PSI6100.200-L1 medium frequency inverter is one of the most sophisticated control products manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. This product has a strong housing unit that provides protection according to the IP20 classification; it also features a combination of the latest technological innovations and decades of industrial production experience. The integration of this inverter into an industrial welding process guarantees high welding quality. There is a separation between the regulation, monitoring, and control operation of this product; there are also several input/output interfaces available for the communication of the inverter with Programmable Logic Control (PLC), Robot or for connection of machine control panel. The heat produced by this inverter is cooled via a air blower; the inverter also operates with a mains voltage supply that falls between the range of 400 to about 480 volts. The maximum welding current of this product is measured to be between 3 to 20 kiloamperes.

The PSI6100.200-L1 frequency inverter has a sophisticated weld timer that serves to provide accurate control over the whole welding process; the integrated regulation and monitoring of this product occurs over a 1 millisecond cycle. The user interface provided for this product's operation, programming and diagnosis is executable on a local PC that features windows 7, 8 or 8.1, and Windows 10 operating systems. Operators can initiate optional access protection for operation/programming through registration with a username and password.

The PSI6100.200-L1 frequency inverter can be configured with up to 256 programs; the symbolic spot addressing of these inverters is also possible. The three major welding modes supported by this product are spot welding, repeat welding, and roll seam.
