The PSI6100.100-L1 is a medium-frequency inverter with an integrated control function manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Company. It is intended for connection to PSG 3000 welding transformers for resistance metal welding tasks. It features a welding control, separate control and monitoring functionalities, and functionality that is designed to offer maximum welding optimization. The benefits of using this MF-inverter are easy programming, operating, and diagnostics thanks to a user-friendly operator interface, less cabling due to system component integration, and straightforward integration into a portable welding box system. It serves to control PSG 3000 welding transformers on the factory floor.
The PSI6100.100-L1 features an air cooling method. This requires the provision of ample ventilation for optimum airflow. It has a rated voltage of 400 V to 480 V, 50/60Hz and a continuous thermal current of 110 A. some of the compatible welding transformers include PSG 3050.00 A and PSG 3050.10 A. the basic construction of this MF-inverter consists of mounting options, connection to welding transformer, weld timer, slots for interfaces, and a battery compartment. It is a 3-phase MF inverter that is designed for recessed mounting in a switchgear cabinet. With an IP 20 protection class, it is to be installed in a cabinet with IP 54 degrees of protection.
